WHAT'S UP AT RED CEDAR DURING COVID-19

scroll down

We've been encouraged to see that the number of COVID cases in Barron County has been on the decrease for the past several weeks! The Barron County Public Health lessened our Current Risk category out of the Red Zone (find info & updates from the Barron County Public Health Department HERE.)

As we continue to navigate this pandemic together, the reality is that many ministries at Red Cedar will be affected differently. Take a look below for updated information about what being part of the Red Cedar community looks like in this season!

WEEKEND GATHERINGS

Rice Lake Campus
Saturday @ 6:30pm - Masks Optional
Sunday @ 9am - MASKS REQUIRED
Sunday @ 11am - Masks Optional

Ladysmith Red Cedar Room
Sunday @ 11am - Masks Requested

We are encouraged by the CDC's recent updates regarding COVID precautions. This marks a significant and positive shift in our country since the beginning of the pandemic! In light of these updates from the CDC and the State of Wisconsin, we will be making some shifts to our policies, as we continue our efforts towards making Red Cedar a place where Everyone is Welcome! We want to remove barriers for you to invite friends and people in your circles who are searching for Jesus.

Saturday 6:30pm and Sunday 11am services will continue to be a space where masks are optional- both those who choose not to wear a mask and those who choose to wear a mask are welcome! Beginning Saturday, May 22, volunteers will no longer be required to wear masks at the 6:30pm and 11am services, but disposable masks will continue to be available and cleaning procedures will continue. The 9am Mask Required Service - including full kids programming - will continue with the precautions already put in place.

MASK REQUIRED SERVICE

Beginning Jan 30/31, we will be offering a Mask Required service on Sunday at 9am. We are excited to offer this service for members of our church family and community who have been able to worship in person for several months. Click HERE for details about what a "Mask Required Service" looks like.

YTHX- STUDENT MINISTRY

For the summer months, YTHX is taking a break from meeting on Wednesdays. Stay in the loop about some fun summer events by following them on Facebook or Instagram. Questions or concerns? Email Pastor Timothy at timothy@redcedarchurch.com.

GROUPS & OTHER MINISTRIES

As our Red Cedar Groups tend to be smaller in number, groups will continue to meet. If we’ve learned anything since March, it’s that community is important. Having relationships and connecting with each other is incredibly important for our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. God created us for relationship- so if you’re feeling that the past few months have left you searching for friendships, relationships or community, visit redcedarchurch.com/groups for more information about getting involved with a group!

All Groups (Life Groups, Focus Groups, Freedom Groups, Bible Studies) should contact your specific Group Leader for arrangements. If your Group Leader is unavailable or you aren’t sure who to contact, email Pastor Jeff jeffelmquist@redcedarchurch.com!

The church building will remain open for appointments, care appointments and group meetings. If you have any questions or concerns, reach out to your ministry leader or drop us a line at hello@redcedarchurch.com.

Please email any general questions to hello@redcedarchurch.com. Prayer requests can be sent to prayer@redcedarchurch.com. For emergency pastoral needs, call 715-931-0000.

Psalm 91:14-16

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
